This piece feels almost sad to me, because the words of the letters are being washed away. Will the memories go, as well?
It's also so very beautiful. I love the way your photos make me actually think and how I have to look closely to catch all the details. Even then, I think I still miss some, which just makes me want to look for longer.

Well, I guess, it is sad. Old papers (not only letters, but even notebooks) always make me feel nostalgic, this is sort of bittersweet feeling, isn't it?

Yes, I totally agree. Reading my journals years after I've written them and looking at old photos makes me feel nostalgic.

Such a fantastic composition with just the right amount of 'white space' so that it doesn't feel cluttered. I also like the rich, dark tones and the feeling that the beautiful rain is destroying other forms of beauty; the dried flowers and fallen leaves adds to the feeling that everything is temporary and change is inevitable. A great piece!
