Description An Art Trade with . He wanted me to design a monster for the book he's working on. I'm not entirely sure what he wants for the design though, so I decided to save us both some trouble and do a concept page instead of a finished drawing. Hopefully this is close to what you were thinking, Nick. If not I can try something else. Regardless, hit me up on AIM sometime and we can discuss this more.

Everyone else, uh... enjoy.

This is pretty awesome, and I think frog eyes would work the best.

Clover...just what I need to stumble on in like a toddle drunk off eggnog to ruin such a interesting design.

I should have expected this though.

Kinda looks like a more muscular version of Clover. While there is nothing bad about this look there isn't really anything that stands out about it.

Though the barbed tongue is awesome. lol

Fair enough, though I really think it's just the stance that does it. The whole long-armed sea monster thing. Which is unfortunate, because that's actually pretty close to how the real creature it's based off of looks.

Unless it's based on a sea-iguana I don't have a clue what it might be based on.

An obscure and very mysterious sea reptile from the Triassic named Helveticosaurus.

Huh... I see why it turned out so Clover like. The animal itself looks like a baby of that species.

You should have captions under each drawing saying: "Rejected Cloverfield monster design."

Bah! Helveticosaurus has been around a lot longer than Clover.

It would still be funny!

This is a neat character developement page. I'd perfer the frog eye over the reptile eye to cement it's aquatic nature.

Mmm, nice. A splendid Christmas gift, heh.

I'll hit you up on AIM sometime tomorrow...after work....in the 6 inches of snow. Bleh.

I just have to say...the little doodle of him hanging on the building...You got pretty darn close to the size Makara (the monster's name) is.
