Also! I noticed Firefox sizes down images by like 1px on dA, making the pixel art sometimes appear smooshed. If you're using Firefox, that could be what you are seeing.

i'm using chrome, actually. and it makes the images (especially furcadia portraits) look bigger then they are..
therefor they look like crap. :/ it's making me sad.

Hmm, the way I fixed the Firefox issue was to upload all of my ports etc as a PNG, and leave 1px of transparency or so around the actual image. Does that make sense?
I think it must be the way dA has the display images coded that is making the browsers pull it up funny, since it's happening in 2 browsers. [Though Chrome and Firefox behave almost exactly the same as far as website coding is concerned.]

honestly i always upload all my ports as PNG seeing as it's the best quality for them.. and yeah that makes sense, but i'm too lazy to edit everything with a transparent frame.
