It reminds us the Bible is indeed a historical collection of books and they all correlate.

Luke was a gentile physician and evangelist, and he documented and researched the works of Christ for someone called Theophilus. Luke also seemed to be good friends with Paul --an apostle and eye witness of the risen Christ.

So I wanted to look at certain places in the nativity story, and I just wanted to start with this reminder and fact.

These are grounds for encouragement among the stories we read, whivh are for deeper than just a good moral tale can provide.

There is a living hope and help.
