Description
This is some form of BMW. The lighting wasn't anywhere near this cool. But I metered to the brightest point on the car to black out everything else.Plenty more to come in this series

I so need to learn about metering. This belongs in a BMW ad somewhere that shows the toughness of the car by showing just a tidbit. You know, as if this cars so cool and tough you dont need to see the rest.
Love it
ing it

this shot is so cool still my
of the lot! It is smothered with the word "commercial" hehe would make a great ad
Love the different gradients in this photo and how it all fades into darkness... love how sleek and smooth it is, with just a hint of grain to show off the gradient..
metering was perfect too, to make the colours and everything work so well!!!
aieeeeeee!
love it

This is excellent photography. Good enough to be used for a commercial ad, I'd say

just plain sexy...
I love shots like this... the ones that we (ordinary? ) people do, but that just look like adverts.
I'd love to work in advertising.

Very awesome way you've simulated the lighting here.
Love the way the curves of the car blend into the darkness.
Did you use a tripod?

Nice.. pity it's a Z4.
It's the sort of shot they'd use a snoot light for. To give that really focussed beam of light on. Nice use of metering to simulate it.

Well you can say what you want about the lighting but I like it. Perhaps a bit softer would be better but then again it would look like all those other car shots and now it stands out a bit. Looks good I think. Has a certain je ne sais qoui.
