And have you read Eclipse? Apparentl it's based around Wuthering Heights. I don't particularly like Twilight so was not amused when Stephanie Meyer said that, but I guess it's just a matter of opinion.

Same here! I don't see the attraction yet I feel like the only person in the world who doesn't like it. It's nice to know I'm not alone.
And I don't think it's fair how Meyer is ripping off the plotline from classics and even names (Edward Rochester = Edward Cullen.

I know!!! Everyone else finds it oh-so romantic but to me it just seems childish.
It's kind of worrying, actually, when you think that in people's literature/art a part of themselves is reflected. What kind of relationships has Meyer been in to make the Bella/Edward so posessive and clingy and "I can't survive without you, don't leave me" =/
Do you mind that I'm kind of clogging up the comments part with Twilight moaning? It feels good though, to finally have someone who feels the same way as me.
