Got bored in a call last night so i felt like making my old sketch from last year digital. I really like how this came out! I really need to work on backgrounds tho. But thats easy to do!Feel free to critique this! All criticism is appreciated!

I really like the color scheme on this and the somewhat painted look of the darker shading. I think that the light source is a bit inconsistent (for the head, it looks like the light is coming from the left, on the roots/some of the leaves, the light seems to be coming from above). Also, I think using white highlights on only the brightest areas could help empathize the lighting. As it is now, there are highlights on areas with shading, which wouldn’t really make sense in real life. I like the way you used the highlights on the head, it seems more natural and really makes the face stand out.
