Description
This was for my Drawing II class. My teacher wanted us to fill our portfolio with ten master artists reproductions and I wasn't happy. I didn't want to "copy" master pieces I wanted to draw what I wanted to draw. However, I do understand why he had us on that project yadda, yadda, yadda. This was the only reproduction I was happy with. It's based on Roy Lichtenstein's Girl with Hair Ribbon. I didn't get around to coloring the face or hair ribbon though. lol.

I would say color in the hair ribbon and leave her face as it is. I rather like how the background becomes her skin.

Ah, yes. Considering the painting was called "Girl with hair ribbon" I think I should. lol.

but don't color her face! She's pretty just the way she is. It's that darned headband that needs to figure itself out.
