I kind of like the style of illustration for the upcoming 2015 BIONICLE series/reboot, and just did this as a sort of test to try and vaguely match that genre.Related content

Yeah, Β the perspective wasn't too kind with this shot; the thigh piece is made to match the shape of the Pelvic plate, and while the central and inner part of the Thighplate are at reasonable heights, the outer sides go waaay up.

He looks kind of adorable xD the body looks too short (in my opinion) but the rest is great,the cartoon style is indeed nice.

Yeah, you've got a point. I just stuck with it because even the proportions in some of the 2015 illustrations are a little whack (Have you seen Onua's arms, those things are like Howitzers!).

Yes,I understand that.That's why onua is so strange to me...god damn them elemental masks instead of normal power ones,he would not need that buff body..or is it the mask of steroids?
But anyway,maybe that's just me having this feeling about the short body because I am so used to human anatomy that we draw at school.Rahkshi don't need guts,so it maybe does not matter,it's just me bugging stuff xD

The angle I illustrated wasn't entirely the best, either, especially considering the outer sides of the thighs are meant to ride up higher than the inner sides
