I swear this was going to be a cartoony doodle, but I got carried away. Ended up being a huge shading practice before I lost all my brushes in Sai. :/

Here's to one of the most talented artists I know. Seriously, when I first discovered him, I saw this picture on the most recent submissions page, and was blown away. It was the first time I saw that digital art could go beyond the 2nd dimension. Okay that's a bad way to put it, but the same day he posted the Silvaze picture was when I posted this monstrosity . Obviously I became a huge fan of his work. Who wouldn't?? If you say you wouldn't then you didn't click the Silvaze picture or his profile full of art that's even more amazing. How can you live with yourself.

But anyway, above is his character, Syron. WHAT A CHARACTER. All the glowy bits and cool outfit and literal crystal arms. Shame he has them because his dad went insane, but whatever. Just imagine all the times he has to explain why his arms are crystal. Just spent 5 minutes trying to think of a pun with the word "crystal" in it but I can't think of anything. Oh well.
