Description
This decorative bottle is from the newest "collection" I have been working on recently..."Potions of Possibility". The entire bottle is made from polymer clay and the topper is a real crystal prism. The bottle is not completely hollow, but it has enough room for a small amount of glitter or a favorite perfume or essential oil.If your sick of the cold weather and longing for blooming flowers and April showers then this potion is the one you desire! The bottle is growing inside of a rosebud and symbolize the beauty, enchantment, and new beginnings of Spring. This is the season of new growth, budding flowers, and outward expression. It is a time to start fresh and begin anew and it connects us to the spirit of birth, renewal, growth, expansion, and all that is creative. It is a time of hope, possibility, and inspiration. It is time for us to step out of winter ...just take off the lid, close your eyes, and let the potions magick fill your mind with spring!

I am so new at working with clay but I see this and my creativity is renewed! Beautiful work! I have only made two dragons and a bunch of cupcakes so far XD I am loving all of these bottles, the wands are fantastic too, all this magical stuff and leaves/flowers is inspiring. Keep it up!

The entire bottle is made from clay and you didn't cover a bottle with it? WOW! I tried to make some bottle pendants a few years ago, they turned out okay but lost their shape in the oven and the little stoppers I made wouldn't fit back in them, so I had to glue them. I wanted people to be able to drop a few herbs in there and such....That is just amazing, and SO pretty!

Yep...The entire bottle is clay! I have tried covering objects in the past...and it never seems to work out well for me
I would like to try to make a few of these with a real glass bottle inside...but for now they are just clay. They are not completely hollow...but they do have enough space to put a small amount of oil, glitter, herbs, or perfume in them. As for your bottles loosing shape in the oven...possibly try laying them on some fiber fill (or whatever that cotton stuff you put inside pillows and stuffed animals is called) when you bake them. I stand the bottles upright in the oven so I have not tried this with them...but I have used this in the past for a few other projects and it worked rather well for keeping the shape. I bake my toppers separately (suspended in a very small cookie cutter so they are not lying flat in the oven) and they seem to fit pretty well after baking so that might help you as well.
