Not the best drawing, but it's cute.Anywho, here is our favorite harmonica playin', pipe smokin', and if you've read the books- applejack quaffin' little friend.
A little known fact about Snufkin for you people who never read any Moomin books-
Little My and her older sister Mymble are Snuf's half sisters, and they have a large number of brothers and sisters from unknown fathers, since their mother is a total floosie.
In fact, her original name in Swedish is Mymlan, from the word Mymla, which is a nice way to say 'having sex' xD

I live in Sweden and I recently bought ALL OF THE MOOMIN DVDS (in Swedish) lol I love the series so much! But apparently some episodes are only in Japanese, I have to buy them too

It's not too expensive! It's considered childrens movies (which I don't really agree with though) so I was lucky to find an OK price... ^^
The show was originally made in Japan, in Japanese! And dubbed Swedish after that.... (The original Moomin books language is Swedish though!) but it seems that the last season was NOT dubbed to Swedish

Yea kl drawing it's very cute indeed... I used to have a big thing over that guy lol I remeber whatching it just so I could hear his voice XD .. and if he werent in it it would really dispoint me, I actually whacted it in japases to see what he sounds like.. and boy it was sooo like Oh yea.... lol if u know waht I mean XD... I live in london so of course I saw the english dub of it first.

YES! I use colored pencils! I don't have but like, three crayons. lol! But I mean, everything is digital art now. Don't get me wrong, digital art is great, but the digital artists get most of the attention, and you really don't see alot of traditional art, so I was thrilled to see your picture! ^_^

Yeah, they're whole sisters. and yep, it's the Joxter alright. and from what I remember, after thier mother's 'escapades' you will, she stayed with the Joxter.
Well, no one knows their ages. Tove never really mentioned. but you can assume My is a preteen, and Snufkin, seeing as he drinks and smokes, is probably around 20ish. Mymble married the inspector (or mailman, don't remember) at some point, so she's probably a few years older then Snufkin.
I'm really flattered that you like my drawing so much, I don't mind you using it in whatever you like as long as you mention it's mine

First of all, LOVE your drawing!! Its really "him from the cartoons" and not some made up Snufkin (which is also fun to see but sometimes someone needs a change

I read em all now and it is only in The Exploits of Moominpappa that they're talking bout their relatives. It says that Mymble daughter is the oldest of the Mymbles children, so she sure is older than Snufkin. But when the parents are "adventuring" in the story, at one point we see that Little My is born. Strangely enough, Snufkin still isn't

I was actually reffering to the cartoon. That is what Yuga and I were talking about, not the books- hence why we were discussing different language dubbings.
I am aware of the differences between the books and cartoon, as I have read almost all the books, including The Exploits of Moominpappa. I don't remember exactly what happened and when My was born, so there may be another explanation, for example maybe Mymble had Snufkin before and it isn't mentioned in the book, and by the time My was born he was already on his own. But as I've said, I really don't remember much of that book, so I'll take your word for it.
I have purchased the book recently, and when I finish the ones I'm reading at the moment I'll check it out.
I do remember My hitting on Snufkin...that was rather revolting IMHO.

Just like the part in Midwinter about the beautiful lady of the cold, she gives the character a really long description without saying one word about her appereance, and you kinda make your own image of her in your mind...hehe.
