Haha one of my friends posted this quote on her tumblr the other day and I couldn't help but think of Craig. I've actually attempted this drawing several times in the past but I've always failed miserably at the perspective.That's not to say I don't still fail miserably at the perspective... >> Just less miserably.
I didn't actually spend a whole lot of time on this, you can kinda tell.... xD
Flat colors + grunge texture = INSTAWIN
Also I realize his jacket/pants are usually opposite colors but they looked really bad so I flipped them haha
I got the texture from brusheezy.com
And the font is Abusive Pencil from dafont.com lol I love that font so much

(how do ppl use textures? Do you make it sorta transparent over the flat color layer, or is there a trick to it? ) Sorry for the quick question, its just something I've always wondered.

You can use textures in a variety of ways, usually I just set the layer to a low opacity, but for this one I sent the blending mode to overlay (and still lowered the opacity some).

Haha yep. Everything except the text because apparently Photoshop decided to be a bitch and not want me to do it in there. >> So I did the text in Corel.
