I'm glad to see images like this. Just because the movie jumped from the Ursula dies scene to the wedding on a boat scene doesn't mean the charactersΒ did. I think Triton would insist that they dateΒ at least before he marries off his 15yr old. He'd want them BOTH to be sure & telling her she can't be human & married for another couple of years is a good test for them both & for the strength of the relationship.
