A red kangaroo stands 4 to 5 ft. tall and weighs 200 lbs. Β Procoptodon is 6 ft. tall and weighs 500 lbs.

I wouldn't want to fight it. Not even a modern kangaroo.

A kangaroo kick could probably kill you.

Modern or the Short-Faced or both?

Both. A kick from a Short faced kangaroo would probably throw a kick that would instantly kill someone, although it was probably no match for one of the top predators at the time, and I'm not talking about the marsupial lion.

Megalania also preyed on Diprotodon, the giant wombat, and possibly the demon duck of doom.
