Interesting piece. I like the concept, but it's actual kind of confusing to determine whats going on. I think if you should try to define your action a little more and it'd be easier to see what's happening.

im not sure i can define a figure standing still more than i already have.
it might be found confusing because the shading is a pen and markers.
can u explain "define action"

a figure can have action just by standing still. movement if you will. It's intertwined with personality. The character is just blah. There's no soul no movement. The ghosts or whatever are around him appear to just stand still. make them move. thats what I mean by action, life in your drawing. It's soulless.

ya, thats the point. i wanted it to be a cold picture. The picture was for the audience that know the ghosts and the oc standing there.
this character, Inle Ebonpath is supposed to look souless and cold. No need for a lush character.
However, the question wasnt answeared still, i was wondering why u found it confusing, and what actions needed defining.

Well, actually I did answer the question, but to put it more simply, he may be soulless but he doesn't need to be boring. It's boring, not soulless or cold, just boring. It's confusing because you have about four million intricate shapes convoluted together without any real definition. You have to sit an analyze the piece just to tell what everything is. It's not the fun kind of analyzing where things pop up that you haven't seen before and it's like a fun little puzzle. It's like a dull analyzing that you have to do to make sense of anything. I'm sorry if it's rough I don't know how to be any clearer. You're right he doesn't need to be lush he doesn't need to have " action", he just has to be interesting. But he's boring, confusing, and poorly defined.

this is all the complete opposite of what u called it on your first comment.
also, im going to have to disagree with u. I don't think its boring, but real cool looking. He's standing there duel weilding sythes, cocked eye, with 2 strangely drawn ghosts staring at him whislt wrapped around him.
what else could make him interesting. Its perfect what its designed to do. Intimidate my future opposition.
Im sorry u had such a tough time looking at my art, but your the first that i know that was so easily confused by my style.
I really don't see the connection with neat lines and excitement, interest, or amusement.
