Well human body is the most balance... not best in everything but just in average point. I mean yeah its cool that you can have cybernetic implants but those thing will have long term side affect too.

Ah.... And then theres the whole chance that the persons body would reject the implants, and that would REALLY suck!

LOL, that is why some people believe if we ever reach that tech and age. Might as well full swap you body for a full machine one to reduce such risk. Just like ghost in shell era.

Yeah, I would love it if that was within my lifetime... Which it just might be! There already making exoskeletons for soldiers that allow them to run at up to fifty mph for hours on end without getting tired, and lift extreme ammounts of weight without getting tired!(Master Chief anyone?)
Though at the moment those exoskelletons are sorta big, and cost a tiny bit more than anyone could afford... Except for maybe Bill Gates...

LOL i think mech's are the closest thing human can be a part of human within this 300 years. For us to really trade our body to be fully machine... i think that might take around 3 - 5 century of research still.

But its still there! All we have to do is grasp the technology!
I mean, a hundred years ago look where were we? People would have laughed at a person if they said we would have landed on the moon, created a Atomic device, had robots creating things(car factories), be able to communicate with people half a world away instantly, have cars that can go over 200 mph, and so much more in less than a hundred years. We just dont notice the things that we take for granted...
Funny, no?

LOL back then we have no worries bout resources ... but these day... that issue is very very prominent and it will cause a major slowdown in technological evolution.

Nah... human will never learn peace..... cause that is how our nature is..... if there too much peace some idiot is bound to create chaos once left alone. XD

Too true man.... Oh, an BTW, long time no see!
It is human nature to fight. This is both a curse and a gift for us, for if we did not fight one another our species would have overpopulated the planet years ago.
But war also is a horrible thing, and those that survive it are changed from whoever they were before the conflict. This is human nature...
Gah, why did I get all serious? Meh, might be because of MGS4, which is freakin sweet!

Well that how human are, not unless you propose an idea like in Gundam Seed Destiny, alter the human gene are remove the aggresive side of us. But that will cost the human freedom of expression. It is a really give and take situation.

But to remove someones humantiy by destroying their ability to feel(even if it is just something like aggression or grief) is almost like destroying part of their soul. Without emotions we basically become nothing more than machines to be used... And then thrown away........

LOL that aint me .... i aint superhero or super scientist material. Truthfully a battle mech is no better than a existence of a gun. They are made to kill rather than to protect.

Crispyreaper In reply to dlredscorpion [2008-06-24 05:17:25 +0000 UTC]
Guns may be made for war, but that doesnt mean they havent done plenty of good in the world. This sorta all goes back to the "He who has the bigger stick wins" way of thinking, and in all honesty I honesty Id rather be able to defend oneself against an aggressor who has a gun than to just stand by and be a victim...
Though I totally understand what you are talking about mechs being designed stictly for war and killing, but they could also be used in humanitarian ways(For example, Firefighter Mecha! Its already a few stories tall so it doesnt have to worry too much about not being tall enough, an it could also carry plenty of water in the event that a firehydrant isnt around!) So Thats how you could Save The World!!!.....(BTW, Im just jokin around here! )

LOL i know ... but its always fun to debate.
Yeah i know they can be used for Humanitarian aid but you know the military. They will take the most simplest thing and turn into one of the most efficient toys of war. That how it always have been and will stay that way i guess. XD

I don't really have problem with teen male body, the muscular ones are the scary ones. I am still struggling on those.

XD
well i cant say i dominate them all cuz i have problms with females now XD always did but im getting the hang of them
and no one loses their abilities to draw its like riding a bicycle once you lea yu can never forget and you ca only get better the only think that is trly of concern is rusting sometimes its easy to get back on your feet sometimes its not but you always get your abilities back
muscular ones are easy you just put the muscles as the body lines flow
