Description
Well got some free time so decided to upload some unused and rejected civilian robot concept design. Its done roughly using flash and some photoshop here and there.As you can see, got a few designs mixed in there but most of them are like basically for sports, security or well civil services.
(no military designs yet ... sorry guys XD)
The design are from an outsourced project to my company so i cant tell any details on the project. Kept the design simple as it will be easier for the modelers and animators when the production line begins.

Nice. Seems like it could handle the role. I'm guessing that thick hide would make it pretty much bulletproof.
And I'm sure he could easily pick up any trouble maker and send them out on their bum.

To smaller arms probably, but i think anti armour rounds still works pretty well against them. But then again......military hardware can be just easily purchase at any legal weapon shops. XD

Yeah. But the good thing about a robot is that a shot through the heart often doesn't work. With independently powered parts they become a real pain to put down.

Well there is always EMP grenades like those from Deus EX XD. Real machine killers those babies.

Meh. And risk killing the getaway car? EMPs are nasty little buggers. That's what the super weapon from Goldeneye was. A nuke in orbit used to create an EMP pulse over the desired location.

Eh. Not so much as one would thing. An EMP is essentially a wave of energy designed to overload the circuitry in a machine. You just gotta create the right sort of explosion and the shock wave will do the rest. Same rule applies with dynamite fishing.

Second unit on the second row somehow reminds me of an Orb Astray unit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and MSG SEED Destiny...

Orb ashtray ?? sorry i am not really a CE gundam fan so me ish not familiar with their names and design. I prefer the UC gundam design is aspect of realism in design.

I liked some of the UC designs (Hi-Nu FTW), but not all of them... After Coloney's designs are pobably my favourite, because Wing was the first series I saw.

Personally, Heavyarms Kai (OVA Version) For the TON of guns it has. Running Gag: Trowa ALWAYS running out of ammo before fight's over.

lol Well HA kai do have outstanding suppressing firepower but like you said its ammo is its issue. Then there is a another big issue where they dint point out, Heavy Arms is very vulnerable to sniper type weapons too. Most suppression type units lacks the long range capability to outrange longer range units.

Missiles. EVERYONE loves missiles... That's the long-ranged power for Heavyarms...
Also, suppression-types need not be close-range. Sniping is an effective pinning method.

Sniper is more of a take down and soften your armour kind of design. Missile with long range capability are huge and a volley is almost impossible unless you are battle fortress design.
Unfortunately Heavy arms missile are micro missile so i think its only mid range.

Tell that to Dynames, or one of Armored Core 4/For Answer's BFF units... they snipe you, and REALLY hit your armour.
Micros AND homing. Leg-mounted missiles are homing missiles.

LOL well depends on the design ... don't forget the mobile fortress... sniper weapons are practically useless against them XD.
Well missile are consider secondary weapons due to the limited ammo payload. But its a very important secondary base weapon.

Spirit of Motherwill, Cabracaan, Sol Dios Orbit, Jet and Answerer are proof to sniping due to the ways to beat them (Answerer can die in a hit or two in the right spot)... But Gigabase, Stigro, Eclipse and Land Crab are fair-game for sniping, if you watch out for return fire.
CIWS eliminates your missile attack from your base. Most Gundam battles are limited to visual range anyway, due to some jammer or another... So missiling only works if you have a spotter and an overwhelming number of missiles (East Meg 1's attack on Mega City 1 in the Judge Dredd story, The Apocalypse War...)
