I had to draw this for the x-ray screen for this image [link] done for 's Art Request, figured I'd put it up on it's own as well since someone might like to see it.Nothing against Michigan, but I really don't like Abby from NCIS... so drawing her wasn't really fun for me, but hopefully it doesn't show in the final product.

Sorry about the inclusion of Abby I should have suggested someone else she just came to mind first. I like her look but admit to not really knowing her character much as I dont watch any of those shows much for many of the reasons you mention
But back to teh pic at hand and this is 5 levels of awesomeness here. You managed to make the last pic even sexier and the new Tv here its like those old Benny Hill shows where he expects to see more and we get a skeleton lol. You sir are an awesome possum

Don't be sorry, I agree she's got a fun look and once I was able to focus on her as being a "generic suicide girl" rather then "from NCIS" I didn't mind drawing her that much. I'm just hoping that decision doesn't hurt the overall piece.
I'm glad this one is 5 levels more awesome then the last one as well.

Well if the question is "do you like how Abby looks?" (which since you prefaced it with 'gorgeous' one might assume you meant) then I'm okay with her, I got nothing against the concept of a suicide girl styled lab tech.
If the question is "do you like Abby as a character?" then I have to say it's a resounding no on several levels.
First off I HATE CSI-type shows, I love "real crime investigation" type shows on TRU TV/Discovery/A&E but CSI/NCSI and the like are so far removed from the truth (both because they take huge amounts of short cuts with their uses of computers and often do things VERY wrong when it comes to handling evidence that should lead to contamination) it becomes unwatchable for me since these unrealistic practices become case breakers (we have this photo taken mouments before the shooting but why can't we see the killer in it?... enlarge, remove blur, adjust angle, 3D mock-up engage, map out bullet paths ... and 5 second later we find out the photographer had to be holding the gun!!... or alternatively: None of use have worn hair nets when handling evidence, but look! this lone stand of hair is our key clue logic would dictate we'd want more then one strand to ensure a DNA match and really we'll be lucky it's no Gil's but here goes! (run DNA sequencing and up pops a picture of the killer 2 seconds later on their fancy ass LCD plasma monitor) BINGO!)
Secondly, her character seems like she made up by a 60 year old writer with no clue how things work and who just said "We need a computer expert... you know who likes computers: Goddamn Teenagers! We should have a teenager be their computer expert, have them do something useful instead of standing on my goddamn lawn all day!" It's insanely ridiculous to me anyone could believe a goth girl works in the navy crime lab, or that if there was one she could go to work with long pig tails and leather bracers on and drink a big glup all day... just throw a lab coat over it for the illusion of sterility and boom!
To be fair though, Gil Grissom is by far a worse character on a CSI-type show so I guess I can say "I like Abby more then Grissom" much like I like being kicked in the testicles more then I like being stabbed in them.

Your critism is probably mostly justified, but it dosn't stop those shows being fun. Bear in mind that on UK terrestrial TV there is literally fuck all else on except endless repeats, crappy Steven Segal films and reality TV. Compared to those, crime dramas are very intellectually stimulating...
Why do you hate Grissom even more? Even I have realised that they clearly speed up everything ridiculously to fit all the DNA lab stuff in...

unfortunately it's a "British Comedy X-Ray Machine" it's only settings are "off", "underpants with a sexy whistle sound", and "skeletons with xelephone effects"
