Description
The Light of the WitchesWith the Devils eyes of trepidation,
a slight feeling they might be psychotic killers
in a bordello or somewhere neon lit and depraved
the city lights does it
makes them a nervous couple,
an evil wind blows their way
and back to their oblivion's nest
the sorcerer's assistants
the Devil playmakers
Dante's inferno's nymphets
the cause and effect of so much
two sister's of the cauldron
hypnotized to the bloodline
living in the darkness of the sun
waiting for the final sign

This seems apocalyptic to me. Some times I wonder what will happen to the enormous structures that humans have built, after we are gone. You know, only the more primitive structures like pyramids will be left standing after so long. Modern concrete structures are filled with metal rebarb(spelling?) skeletons. The rebarb will rust quickly as stress cracks appear, allowing moisture to seep in. This will leave hollow cavities inside, weakening structures. This has happened many times since the industrial revolution. That is barely 100 years. That is almost the average life span of humans. What will happen long after humans are gone? What will be left? What kind of scars would we have left on the planet?

I know
i like that abandoned feel of these Polaroids
you ask all good questions
hope we do not see any of this
but like many civilizations in the past, some lost to the dust and awaiting future civilizations to uncover them
we await more buildings replacing old ones
these I shot are alll relatively new
but i got that...Soylent Green and Omega Man vibe
if ya don't know these old sci-fi films
try and catch them
from the 70s I believe
the cockroaches may end up writing all the memoirs

You I've heard of those movies, but I'm not so sure I've seen them. I do know the story of soylent green though. I'm not sure about Omega Man though.
Kinda funny, that next day after I sent the original comment, They had the show "When we're gone" or something like that on TV. It was about how the world would change if we all died. Like how long it would take landmarks to decay, how the environment would change, how long it would take to happen, & stuff like that.
I also saw something about the Mayan Apocalypse in 12/21/2012. That's the day after my dad turns 60 & can finally retire.

I love how the clarity of the buildings gets undermined by those abstract bubble structures...a beauty of a shot!
