I don't think a video game character this awesome needs any introduction!

Mario's been long overdue for fanart since I played the original Galaxy last year. Since I've just finished the long-awaited sequel (by finished I mean got all the stars), Mario deserved some more fanart. He's shown using some of my favorite powerups in his career: the Fire Flower and the Cape Feather.

I've always hated the fact Mario couldn't use both of these at once, but what if he could? I'd imagine the item granting these abilities would be a phoenix feather. Mario could fly over the enemies and bomb the enemies with fireballs. How awesome that would be!
