Description Relapse

It was night time, we were crammed in a van.
All wearing evening gowns and suits for the boys. We laughed, and we stumbled on each others feet and spilled out.

My friend caught me as I was pushed from the door; a smile on my face, I looked up.
The simper faded to wonder, curiosity
Attraction.

You stood and welcomed us, then specifically me, and took my hand gracefully.
You guided me step by step through the dew-coated grass. My face slightly flushed, I felt comfortable.

Your eyes never left me for more than a second.

Simply speaking, the word "beautiful" came easily to mind when describing you.
You were beautiful
You are beautiful
Beauty...

Waving golden brown hair, a strong face.
Tall...But for me who isn't?
Green and brown eyes you could spot easily among millions of people.
A smile worth a thousand words.

A perfect gentleman, and a sly, witty, creative individual.
The epitome of an oxymoron.
A well rounded person.

They left, and it was you and I.
I met your friends, I congratulated a happy couple in the center of a crowd, being pushed and shoved the whole way to them.
We celebrated as a family, singing and hugging, basking in the glory of it all.
I stupidly ask
"Where are they from?" when I acted and spoke as if I'd known them all along.
"They're from Sachem. That's what this party's for."
I felt stupid and apologized.
You only laughed. I joined you.

You followed me every step of the way as I playfully ran and took you through the house.
No.
The mansion.
It felt like home to me.

Every few steps of running down the long expanse of staircase, I'd look back and smile at your dumbfounded grin.

You met my family; my core.
Hand in hand, you met my Aunt, who congratulated me on finding such a fine boy.
I turned and you were gone.
I followed your footsteps back out to the lawn.

Grass glistened
Birds sang
You pulled a flower from a cherry tree
Silhouetted  by the glow of the moon.

I had to catch myself and remember to breathe.

Everything felt so...amazing.

You came toward me, and thanked me for spending my time with you.

The world was purple around us. It blossomed in the spectrum of it all.
Vivid pink
Rich purple
Burning magenta, and deep blues.
It was glorious.

The sort of thing you'd expect to experience on drugs.

You stood before me, and opened your arms wide, bending slightly so I could wrap my arms around your neck.
And I did.
I buried my face into your hair and the crook of your neck.
I took in your smell, the feeling of your suit jacket and silken waistcoat.

I felt your hands at my hips,
You shifted
I felt your arms hold me close.
You sighed
I started to tear.

"Thank you" I whispered. I felt warm. Everything was perfect.
You were amazing.
You were someone I knew without knowing.

I heard my name from the door close by.
Yellow light flooded the area.
I looked up.
I looked back and you were gone.
I felt empty.
I'd lost myself again.

Revival

I wanted to cry.

Now imagine you're only half of yourself.
When you dream, you're whole
But your other half plays games, and runs from you
Toying with you and your wholeness.
You only feel right when you're with your other half in your head
Your unification never carries over to true life.

Can it still be called "true life"?

That's what these dreams seem to do to me. Whoever this manifestation of myself is, he carries half of me and plays around with and in my head.

He's a pretty redundant character in that type of dream, but he hasn't come back to me since :/.

Thank you haha. It just kinda came to me. It was a nice dream, till I woke up >.>
