Reason for being in Paradise: Melon had a mate who he loved dearly until he cheated on him with another. Mellie tried to murder the other who slept with his cheating lover but learned he was a god in disguise. The god sent him to Paradise. The gods own lover, out of revenge, gave Mellie the power to detect lies and relive the memory each time his powers would be used.
