Beemo is my favorite Adventure Time character haha. I know you guys don't really come here for stuff like this, but I made it last night and thought I would share it with y'all.Made in MS Paint.
I've seen a few pictures like this before around the web and thought I would show you what I thought Adventure Time mixed with Mario would work like. I wanted to fit Marceline or a character representing Yoshi in somewhere, but I wasn't really sure where they would fit in..

Well only one of them is Gunter and the rest are just random penguins that usually appear in the Ice King's lair

Is it just me, or does Cartoon Network love referencing Nintendo? Think about it. There were two charactersΒ in an episode of Chowder who looked suspiciously like the Mario Bros. andΒ then there's Beemo's resemblence of a Gameboy.

I think it's more up to the writers than the studio itself. In Regular Show they make a lot of references to the classic Sega games and the original Sega systems. Oh yeah and there was another episode in Chowder that had a giant turtle that looked pretty much exactly like Bowser.
