FINISHED WOOOOO8D
The ever-so-awesome obligingly pointed me in the direction of the art program she uses: sumopaint.com . And I wanted to practice with it, so I decided to try inking and colouring the previous sketch with it. Needless to say, I'm quite pleased with the result. :3
Liquidator/Bushroot goodness! Now in fabulous technicolour. Well, flat colours, anyways. Aaaand I kinda half-arsed that flower. But it was fun! It's a neat program. Thanks again, Snark!
EDIT: Oh, and I totally forgot I wanted to mention this -- it struck me after I posted the original sketch that it bore some resemblance to this old thing [link] from back in 2008 (that's my old account btw). Did I just kick my own butt? Yes. Yes I did. Feelsgoodman.

Aww, thanks! The flower isn't anything special, just a couple of brushes with lines drawn over 'em. Sumopaint is a really nice program that way -- it has a lot of tools to choose from.

I haven't used Sumopaint. I pretty much just use Photoshop, even though half of the options confuse the hell out of me.

xD I am frequently confused by photoshop. I missed the basic training in high school, blech. And I've never been particularly good at experimenting with it. Sumopaint is good, though, and free!

This is not only a well-drawn and cute piece but put next to the older one it really is amazing to see how far you've come. I mean it just makes it look all the more clean and tightly done. So nice work and I'm rather glad you put up the older one for comparison's sake.

They really are! We saw that their powers and even their personalities compliment each other quite well in "Just us Justice Ducks". All slash aside, I wish they'd teamed up more than once in the show outside the Fearsome Five. Although I understand the Liquidator was pretty hard to write for, so I can see why it didn't happen.
