Season 2 gets into the more mysterious and darker elements of the show, as well as more heavily focusing on the story. If you can find time and place to watch it, you definitely should!
Naw, its had a bajillion hiatuses and we'll be going through one last one before the end haha. Depending on how much spoiler-ish stuff you know, I'd recommend trying to avoid as much as you can haha
