Description
A one-sitting assignment in my first semester of drawing. We had to draw our shoes. 2 1/2 hours maybe?
The real thing is much more abused. I took some artistic liberty by actually attaching the sole to the heel.
If you ever see me in real life I'll probably be wearing these. (Continued refusal to replace - 3 years strong!)

Those are some nifty boots. And excellently drawn too. I had that assignment in an art class I had last semester. I learned that I would never attempt to draw shiny leather again...

Yay for refusal to replace shoes before they have quite literally fallen to pieces (and even some time after)!
I'm the same. If it's a comfortable shoe, it's not dead til it's fallen off my foot.
I'm a fan of the heel in the pic. The shading looks like you've got all the little levels of it in there. Attention to detail=win.
