Sweet Celestia, It is done!!This took waaaay longer than it should have and even longer after I added the colours and shading. This was originally ment to be a simple sketch like my other random comics, but I just couldn't reproduce the same style, so it ended up like this. And I'm glad I did.
I immediately thought of a historybook when Twilight first stated that Cadence was 'the best foalsitter in the history of foalsitters'. And that idea formed the base for this comic.

I strongly disagree with both of your statements. Rarity is the last pony containing the dying gasps of G3ism; and Fluttershy, though undeniably cute, cannot be best pony on the simple grounds that said position is already and permanently occupied by Rainbow Dash, thank you very much.

Can't argue with that. But I can just relate to Fluttershy so much that she'll always be my number one pony. And Rarity is just such an over the top dramaqueen that you just have to like her.

Well, yes. I don't hate anypony, its just that I like everypony a lot, and Rarity is just lagging to the back. And same reason you like Fluttershy I like Rainbow Dash. I can relate well to her confidence, brashness, and brutal honesty to the point where she's almost being a dick :3

That's true. My favourite Dash moment is when she's watching Trixie's performance and she is bragging that she is awesome. When Applejack gives her an angry look she goes 'magic, shmagic, boooo' and then gives her the most priceless look ever.

Oh God, that's an awesome idea for a comic!!!! Do you mind if I use that and turn it into Random Comic #4? I can just see it now! Fluttershy asks Rainbow Dash where her pet went and she completely forgot about him. Then in the last panel you see him in some random place slowly walking back.

Yeah, that would be nice. I'm always afraid to just throw my comics out there, after working on them for a while I tend to get blind to typo's and errors in the drawing.

For me they aren't. I draw everything by hand, from the ground up. I've never used a single vector.

Oh well I used to do that, because I suck at computer drawing and it is a massive pain in the ass to turn drawn pictures into computer files without the pristine white paper being all gray, plus the medium you use to draw, like crayons or pencils, leaves little lumps of color and little spaces of white, as opposed to the perfect homogenity of computers. So that's why I use vectors.

Interesting! I just can't work with those little buggers. But I think some day I'll just have to accept them as superior, since I've encountered them a lot at school and I'll probably end up on some design job where I'll be forced to use them for logo's and such.
Since you wanted to help me on that tank comic, maybe you can think of a catchy title. I always suck at titles.

Me too. But you said you can hand-draw comics and then use them on the computer so that they look good right? How?
As for the tank comic:
Scene 1: RD and some (or all) of the mane 6 are at the beach, and they brought some of their pets. I like the beach idea because that's a good place to make them do all sorts of stuff like Pinkie playing with a beach ball and RD putting on sunscreen looking smoking hot or smtn...
Scene 2: A particular pet catches somepony's attention, and they remember that Rainbow had Tank.
Scene 3: Somepony asks Rainbow where tank is, and she blankly stares into the sky and tries to remember
Scene 4: Tank is walking through a barren tundra with a rusted-through train car half-buried in the snow that says "Siberia" in russian on it, and Tank has a thought bubble with a smiling Rainbow on a cloud. Oh and his propeller is busted.
That's probably not that good but it's something to start off from.

I use a tablet to draw lines directly into photoshop, but i use brushes instead of vectors, so for me it's still hand drawn.
I allready started working on it. I've completed the layout and the story. It now starts on their Pony-pet-playdate. I've added a little joke with Pinkie Pie and Twilights owl. I really like the idea of the russian landscape and the trainwreck. I uploaded this really really early and ugly sketch to my stash: [link]

hmmm I don't know, I'm thinking of ways to throw around "tank" or a word that sounds very similar to "tank" in ways other than to represent Rainbow's pet.

There are a few things I'd like your opinion about; do you think Rainbow Dash's legs look weird? Same question for Pinkie's pose. Don't mind the Gummy in the air, I'll draw him again tomorrow. I'll keep you updated!

Tbh Pinkie's farthest foot and Dash's bottom foot are a tat too long because you have to keep it in perspective. The biggest issue I see(in terms of illustration) is Dash's cutie mark. But yeah you definitely draw on the computer better than me. If only I could find my dad's old digital sketch pad...
