Description
Played few hours of the game, having much fun so farElizabeth gracefully collects coins and ammos during intense battles without getting hurt, I guess she learned how to do that too while she was locked up in the tower.

Loved how your hand mutates depending on the vigor. Specially murder of crows, how it goes all raven claw like if you just piss around long enough.

Or if you just walk around for a while and there are no enemies. I always want to go around using that hand to melee instead of the Skyhook.

Crows suck. The bees were infinitely better. They could actually do some damage

Genesis-Omega In reply to Bloocrusader [2013-04-02 16:55:50 +0000 UTC]
But can you combine bees with fire, lightning, or other powers? Seriously, you can combine Vigors. I'm working on the timing, but flaming Crows, or electrified Crows, is a little more powerful than bees.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Bloocrusader In reply to Genesis-Omega [2013-04-03 02:57:04 +0000 UTC]
yeah, but bee's cost way less and you could still do stuff like light them on fire, then use bees. Besides, crows become useless as soon as you get bucking bronco. Crows cost way more than bucking bronco, do hardly any damage, and don't stun/stop enemies for as long as bucking bronco so its better to combine bucking bronco with everything rather than crows.

Genesis-Omega In reply to Bloocrusader [2013-04-03 06:49:07 +0000 UTC]
It's all a matter of personal taste. Personally, the Crows work on most anything, and if it doesn't, Bronco might not work either, but Crows distract, do damage, and can make traps out of corpses, allowing for setups later on, though the fact that bodies become lockboxes so friggin' fast kind of makes that tactic questionable.

Would that undo a Crow Trapped corpse? Or would it set a regular Crow Trap?

Bloocrusader In reply to Genesis-Omega [2013-04-05 04:14:14 +0000 UTC]
I think if the trap is set the body remains there, but the crow trap cant be used on lunchboxes

Genesis-Omega In reply to Bloocrusader [2013-04-05 04:30:51 +0000 UTC]
It'd be interesting to use on a lunchbox. 'Hey, what's inside this thing? ... *Opens box and gets assaulted by crows* Why, oh sweet merciful Lord, why?! They're everywhere! They're in my gunshot wounds!'

No kidding. One second I know she's five feet to my left taking cover, and literally a second later she's tossing me a new Bird's Eye sniper rifle from my right, and then she's back on my left? Either there's a Tear open and I've got two to look after, or she's the best ninja there's ever been, is, or will be!

zeroknight07 In reply to Genesis-Omega [2013-04-02 20:29:48 +0000 UTC]
well consider the fact you're moving around avoiding gun fire
and what else surprises me is how she never gets hit by a shot
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Genesis-Omega In reply to zeroknight07 [2013-04-02 20:56:10 +0000 UTC]
There's that, but most of the time I hunker down behind cover, stick my head out and take a shot with the Carbine (My favorite weapon of the game) or Bird's Eye (Hence why she's tossing me one), and take a few guys down as fast as possible. So seeing her suddenly go from where she was to where she wasn't... I'm starting to look for the 'twins'.
I think she never gets hit for two reasons. First, the Founders are trying to capture her without hurting her, at all. Second, the Vox Populi aren't shooting at her because of the old Aggro concept, where she's not shooting, so she's not a threat. Booker, on the other hand, is throwing fireballs, lightning bolts, a load of crows, and all manner of ammunitoin in their direction. Who would you shoot at? The immediate threat, or the non-threatening girl taking cover?

You never know where they'll pop up next. *Looks around carefully with scanning devices all around*
It would have made for a dramatic gameplay moment. There is that moment near the end, but it's not as dramatic as it could have been. That said, given what the game allows, there would be a universe where she got shot, or one where Booker gets shot badly and his Elizabeth steps through a Tear and meets the living Booker a short distance later.
Her mobility definitely makes it harder to hit her, and she hides. That means the immediate threat is far easier to hit. It's sort of a common 'fodder unit' mentality. Shoot at the guy shooting at you, ignore the other person until he's dead.

Interesting note, using Possession on an enemy and then using Shock Jockey on them turns the enemy into a mobile Tesla Coil, of sorts. Try that on a fast enemy that can take a hit and likes to get in close (Firemen love running up to me, I notice)

Hmm, I'll think on that. Not too big on Possession myself (lasts too short, and the machines go after you later on.)
But I love my Bronco. Bronco with a side of Murder of Crows.

They should have had an upgrade to improve that part. And Patriots may as well be immune to Possession, given the five seconds it lasts.
Same. It turns a tough fight into a trap shoot.

Right now I'm murdering *no pun intended* the Vox with my Murder of Crows. They've been a blade in my bones the whole game.
Now that they're harassing me on Command Deck, I'm making them pay back every single drop of my blood they shed. And that of the Handyman named Sam. Mainly because he was killed for sport.
And because I'm a female dick.

Genesis-Omega In reply to GeotrixQueen [2013-04-03 07:04:40 +0000 UTC]
The Vox weren't much of a care, until they started attacking me... That said... I accidentally (I swear) Skyline Attacked one that was, at the time, an ally. I was aiming near him, and then, hook to the back of the head. Whoops! Glad no one saw that... Kind of.
My enemies die for five reasons. Recompense for the fallen who died for no reason. Revenge for trying to start up slave trading again. Rage against cowards that believe the color of their skin makes them superior. Righteous indignation against a man that used his own daughter to try to do something horrifying just because he didn't like how things were going in the world. And... Because those vending machines are expensive for upgrades and I'm not shelling out eight bucks for a box of bullets!

GeotrixQueen In reply to Genesis-Omega [2013-04-03 17:02:35 +0000 UTC]
8 bucks is cheaper than Ammo Banditos and Circus of Values. 40 Rapture dollars for a grenade in Bioshock 2?
Anarchy.
Better call in a Handyman to fix the situation.

Genesis-Omega In reply to GeotrixQueen [2013-04-03 19:53:18 +0000 UTC]
I never used the grenade launcher in Bioshock 2, to be honest. I just sort of picked up the ammo around, and never once used it. I'm up against the two Big Sisters near the end, no grenade launcher. I'm up against a Brute Splicer and an Elite Rosie, no grenade launcher. I'm up against those two and a Big Sister, still no grenade launcher. Hypnotize does way more for me.
Pandemonium.
*Glances around in a shifty manner*
