Talents:
Hand-to-hand combat- Her father thought it was only right that she learned combat along with her brother. She prefers to not use weapons or badly injure opponents, usually opting to only knock them unconscious.

Making weird "medicine"- As a chemist, Equis likes trying to come up with new elements or mixtures that could potentially help other gijinka's and aid pharmacists. Trying one of her concoctions might result in fingertips changing to a different color for a while, temporary dizziness, or the hiccups to name a few examples. None of the side effects stay for long, though. If you are brave enough to try one of her mixtures, she will regard you with high respect.

Quick thinking- She is quick to think and act.

Personality:
When not looking for another Gijinka to try her concoctions or socializing with other Chemists/Pharmacists, Equis is rather introverted. She is sarcastic and loves to make other Gijinka laugh, pulling out a good joke amongst her corny ones every once in a while. She is a tomboy, of course, and hates shopping for pretty much everything except food and herbs or the odd ingredient.

She creates new goals each day, but mostly never reaches them. She is a little OCD about keeping things neat, even though most of the time she is disorganized. In example, if she is so focused on her work that she doesn't notice the mess, then she will ignore it for a while. But if she finally notices that her workspace is out of sorts, then she will drop whatever she is doing to re-organize it.

She's not the best at making friends because of the introverted side of her, and she doesn't really know many manners but tries to do everything 98% perfect anyways. If she is in an awkward situation, she usually tells a joke or does something that makes the situation even more awkward, but not on purpose, of course. She regards everyone as equals and doesn't judge, accepting everyone for who they are. But people who think entirely too highly of themselves or are cocky make her a bit irritated, along with children, which really get on her nerves. Equis is rather mellow, occasionally she has a hard time keeping her temper, but one of her goals is to learn to hold down her anger. She is confident that she will at least reach that goal.

She is swift and agile in combat but doesn't like to fight. She finds it bothersome and hates to waste time by doing unnecessary things. She is always paranoid about being on time for things and over calculates.

History:
Equis doesn't remember much about her childhood, but her foster parents have told her quite a lot about it. When she was young, a leviathan and a Griffin pair found little Equis on a path near their home by Snowfall Bridge in Lumeria, shivering. They took her in and half-heartedly looked for her original parents, though doubting that the parents would respond if they had dumped her out all alone in the cold, anyways. Besides, they had a son who could use some company.

Equis wasn't kept in the dark about her past; Her leviathan mother and Griffin father made sure to tell her at an early age because they felt that it was right. She soon grew to accept these two different Gijinka’s as her parents and the fact that she was abandoned was pushed to the recesses of her mind.
When she was 8, she got angry with her parents as all children do, and attempted to run away to the Crysalis Mountains. When going up the steep slopes, she tripped and fell backwards, gouging out her left eye on a branch sticking out from a fallen log and earning several deep scars on her back. Her griffin father soon found her by scouting the air, brought her back, and patched her up. An eye patch was fashioned for her eye by a blacksmith. It was then glued on with a special herb that eventually made the skin and the eye patch partially weld together.

When she was 13, her mother decided it was time she and her brother were taught how to fight. Their father took them into the Illusion Woods in Risohli where they trained for 6 months before Equis told her father she wanted to stop. He was about to teach them how to maim with weapons and she wanted none of it. Her brother, however, was eager to learn so Equis headed back to Lumeria alone. She had a lot of thinking time to herself and eventually decided that when she was old enough, she would live near the Southeastern border between Risohli and Alora, south from the Risohli Shrine. As she was planning where she would stay, she stumbled upon another Gijinka. Nervous, she hid behind a bush and watched. It was a male kitsune. He was working with something odd, and using the small amount of knowledge she had gained over the years, Equis figured out he was a chemist. She startled the kitsune as she came out from the bushes. He smiled at her and continued what he was doing. She watched for a while, fascinated. After a while she decided she should continue her way home and bade him farewell. Her thoughts the rest of the way were filled with Chemistry.

When she had reached home, she delved deep into the world of chemistry, becoming more of an introvert with every book she read. She began experimenting, having her brother try the odd concoctions. By the time she was 17 and he was 18, he had permanent blue fingers and one odd colored eye. He didn't really mind, but their mother did. She told Equis that to continue her studies, she should go somewhere else, as in, to another country where the son wouldn't end up with any other out of the ordinary features. Much to her mothers' surprise, Equis obliged, a little hope sparking up in her of seeing that kitsune again. When she was finally ready to set out, her mother was having second thoughts. Equis just told her that she would write to her every month or so. Her leviathan mother was still worried, watching as her foster daughter walked out the door.

2 years later, Equis now lives rather happily near the border of Alora and Risohli south of the Risohli Shrine. She writes to family at least every 2 months. She lives in a large tent-type deal~. She makes money by selling off the successful potions she makes.
Equis still hasn't seen that mysterious kitsune she met on that fateful day.

Additional Info:
- Her coat has, like, 34546567 pockets. Seriously.
- I forgot to add her scars under her eye. D:
- She carries a small bottle of water around with her because since she is a leviathan and can only stay on land for a few days, she sometimes drinks it in "emergencies" to give her an extra 20 minutes on land.
- I based part of her personality off of mine~
- The glasses she has were the cheapest ones the store she went to had to offer. xD
