Unfortunately the Windows 8.1 theme wasn't that successful so I didn't continue with the project. It was supposed to be a bunch of happy fuends, each with a different personality.

One problem will be that in order to do the rounded corners and the little hair threads I'll have to put those on the top frame shadow which is being used a lot of UI elements, even on the UWP (modern) apps and those will look weird. That's why I don't do rounded corners on my recent themes anymore. I wish windows UI would be more flexible but it's not.

In this case the personification works well with rounded corners and the little hair threads were the detail that completed the head. But unfortunately the Windows UI was not built for such creative ideas
