More like hibernation for the trip. even with wormhole hyperspace technology you tend to decant a few days to weeks from the planet. A prison transport has lower end engines so that the prisoners have time to "cook" in the nano/viral gel.

you see my wonderful brain has the Idea that if they were under constant "treatment" They would "Adjust" diffrently, also It would save money, time, and most importantly space. If the Transports doubbled as sleeping quarters in a grand hibernation chamber hall.

They go through "treatment" in virtual their bodies are being constantly bombarded with tailord viruse with new DNA sequences and nanosurgens moving and removing bone changing topography of organs for the virus to mutate into it's new function.
They are also in a medically induced hibernation for the procedure. They are inside the entire trip. monitered by nurse/wardens in cleansuits(that look rather fetish-like and it seems to effect the attitude of many of them)

Well anywho, If you need to name the planet why not look for something in latin Even something dry you can tack a few numbers and letters on the end of it and it will sound fine

Working name is "Frontier" and other then the spy the bad girls only make a cameo lol.
The planet is 4th in orbit around Alpha Centauri A and onr of 3 inhabitied planets in the Alpha/Beta/Proxima Centauri systems (each star has a 2 AU space for stable orbits and usually approach no closer then roughly 17 AU Alph has 2 habitable planets
Neo Kalifornia(backwards r) wich is lush and topical has no large contients other then one Australian sized one but many large islands some the size of greenland.
Twilight aka Styx orbits beta and has a 85dregree axil tile so people live on the day night terminator.
Frontier [the one looking for a main name light Twilight] is roughly where Mars has an asteroid ring two medium sized moons one is a shepard for the ring the planter is geothermally active but shows signs of meteor impact not only form the ring but from the nearby asteroid belt at the 2 au terminator the planet is in an ice age with the equator temperate for larger cities and it's one spaceport.
because it is less popular then Neo Kalifornia it has less to offer for settlement and has a sever sexual imbalance in that 10/1 male/female and they are about to be blockcaded for piracy on the slave ships [the females are freed however there]
