Heres a piece, i did to test out my clouds and stuff.I was following this particular tutorial, then I kind'a strayed off it.Cause i wasnt getting the results I wanted.I wanted to use it as a portfolio piece aswell, but i dont if I should.What do you guys advise?Its a supposed to be Dracula, who i believe is the worlds most famous pimp.He seduced women, then bit them.I mean he had women doing his bidding and so-on.I believe the worlds oldest, and most famous documented pimp, for real.And if Dracula aint a pimp, then, i dont know who iz.

Hey Conz, nice work. First I thought the Vamp long garment could be lighter in terms of color but I think it just cool as it is. (The girl on the left side actually helps bring the nice silouette on the guy.) But if you're have to brush it up I'd suggest slight gradient glow from the moon. (really just slightly)
As for to including it to portfolio, I'd say go for it! You know I always choose what to include in mine depending on who I show it too and shuffle them.

It's good to see you're getting the drive going to better yourself. Da-Cyfa gave you a preach Damn! Lol! Anyways, I like the dracula stuff and the background is sic man! The clouds are impressive and the moon, goodness gracious I can just grab it. It looks so real! Conz keep it going man. Your work is amazing. Yeah Dracula is the pimp and this picture is pimped out! Kudos to you and definitely a favorite.

Keep it man. The reason why I said this because people love to see different variety of things. What I learn about becoming an artists is that you have to keep an open mind. People are going to have so many opinions about them. Another reason to keep it in your portfolio is that it will build a lot stronger. Oh yeah for an advice to you, bring your skecthbooks as well. I learned that from other freelance artists went I went to the comic book convention in Chicago. People love to see your ideas and how much you progressed. Your sketchbook is your best friend. So while building up your portfolio, keep that in mind. So whatever piece you make if you think it is good or bad, keep it man. Artists love to see your ideas and progression and keeping your ideas in a sketchbook is the best thing. Well hopefully this will help.

I think that because you know where to place light so well on the piece.. you're clouds look perfect. As a matter of opinion those are good UNCOMMON clouds.. I can see you implemented alot of "dot brush" dabs at a moderate to thick opacity, over other cloud layers with different styles of texture, the veriety in the clouds is the "stand out" innovative shit i was talking about... the dots are ill.(blur the cloud in the distance by the castle more). and the stars are just the icing on the cake.. without them it would'nt look complete (how ever.. mess around with different star sizes.. from small to tiny... I think you already know that the moon is good!.. youve been doing moons for a bit now, so you understand the lighting and craters!
I like how you kept the central piece almost classic medieval.. but not so far back.. almost like the times of "interview with the vampire", which (for some of you clowns) was , i think, after the italian renaissance, In Romania! look it up for me if im off!
You knocked the hair style (tied low)
the classic cloak of which was (upper middle class prestiege) back in the day .. and i think i see his name there on the tomb stone signifying his ascent from death... (BRILLIANT) .. the fact that its not made obvious makes you're pieces even that much more interesting.. like its got codes behind it, or theres more to the piece.. i like that, personally..
with reference to that statement, Even though micheallangelo's work on the Sistine chapel (yes thats how you spell it- dumb niggaz always jam 16 before chapel) was the most compelling, he made things too obvious in his paintings. Conz sometimes does this code shit.. i prefer that, EXAMPLE.. a part of the clouds formulate a plane flying into a building=911 "SUGGESTIVLY" and you wont see it unless you LOOK!..
WELL DONE with the breasts.. they look proportionate to the tee now!
