THE HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR PIECE.
- I personally love the shading and highlights on the character~
- The blue luminous chains look really amazing and I love how much it standouts against the character.
- The background pairs quite nicely with the character as well.
-The character's outfit and color scheme are pretty well thought out.
- I like your attempt on the angle with the character's position.
- I love how the chains physics.
SOME SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE YOUR PIECE.
- The character's hand looks a little odd. Their pointer fingers look a little pointy for proportionate. You can try using a real hand for reference, and there are some references out there dedicated to hand positions/hands as well.
- The hair looks a pretty one-dimensional, but ignore this advice if you're actually aiming for cartoony looks.
- The eye patch juts out and looks pretty unnatural. Try fixing this by instead drawing points and aim for more of a softer curved shape.
- The shading on the background looks a bit confusing considering where the light is coming from, simply clarify this by putting the shading behind the character on the right side. Or the light on the character facing the right side.
- I'm personally confused at what the text says, and how it applies to the character's emotion? Embarrassed, frustrated? Perhaps try emphasizing the expression on the character?

Oh my gosh! Thanks for all the criticism and I’ll take it all into account. Well, on the characters expression, that’s a character from the Gravity Falls show, Bill Cipher. Basically the text applies because : Bill Cipher can kinda like make these blue chains, and in this art he’s tied by his OWN chains, basically like when someone turns your insult back on you, aka he got chained up by his own chains.
