here's some rotoscoped sketchwork i did for my internship (i got the ok to post this) for the Toronto Youth Woodwind Orchestra. We're working on a 30-minute or so animated film to go with the performance going on in the spring. The project has been a lot of work, but i've been enjoying a lot of the stuff that's been put out, I ended up being one of the actors they used for shooting reference footage, and that was pretty fun.Related content

thanks! what i will say is that working 'professionally' is without saying a massive undertaking, and i'll probably stay independent for a few years after this internship to both keep working on a portfolio and to find something that i'm really passionate about, because animation is a huge industry, but from what i've seen you don't get to work on cool projects like this too often.

being completly honest, the animation industry is kinda trashy, coming from someone who would like into that as well. I'd say it's a blessing to be able to even work as part of this project you're currently, compared to...say Cartoon Network in its current state compared to what many indie animators are capable of.
Hopefully you become quite succesful with where you're going and I wish the best for you. Do your best while you're at it, pal! Keep making these amazing things!
