Whats with the guy talking about dicks? O_o Sure, the normal tentacles do look a little...hrmm...but this is called uniqueness. I think i just made that word up. If you wanna see another example, here, heres my Cradily::thumb281776249:

Does what look like dicks? If you mean Cradily, then yes, it does have a phallic shape in its design. If the vines, I designed them based on spider legs and a bulbous vine around my house with joints like that.

I love Cradily, but I never thought about it as a creepy PokΓ©mon. The way you described it in the uncolored pic description and drew it does make it seem pretty messed, though. And it's pretty much accurate with the PokΓ©dex descriptions of Cradily from the game, too. How would you like to run into one of these in a back alley? The way this pic is drawn makes me think of some sort of hybrid creature with both mechanical and organic aspects, and I REALLY love that.
(I am favoriting this, and possibly the uncolored one as well, by the way.)

Well, I tried basing them of the bud-laden vines among my grandma's flowers, but it did turn out more like spider-legs. Oh well.

Cradily has a big head in the traditional Pokemon style, too. I guess it's because it's body is technically its roots and would spend a lot of time buried and the head and neck are the like a stem and bud on a flower.
That's the idea I was anyway, can't tell how the original creators were thinking.
