Sonic: Endgame was/is (I can't decided) a storyline based on a fanfic I made for Sonic the Hedgehog. It's more of an alternate reality and provides a scenario of what could've happened if Sonic wasn't able to stop the bad guy. It takes place about 13 years after the events of Sonic Adventure 2, if I recall correctly, with three normal years, then a rise of evil that starts a ten year war for survival between one of Eggman's creations that has begun a conquest of Mobius to carry out his deceased master's wish of building the Eggman Empire, and the Mobians. A very dark story indeed.The Imperials (Eggman's forces) are the main villians and have taken over much of Mobius. Their power has made allies out of the Freedom Fighters and the Brotherhood of Metallix, and many of the characters have changed.
This is the Endgame version of Amy Rose. The General of the Mobian Freedom Fighters and easily one of the strongest Mobians still fighting for good, Amy has come a long way from being the little girl she was. She now uses a large axe/machine gun called the War Hammer, and has a slight streak of insanity at times. Now, ironically, it's the roboticized Sonic that chases after her instead of the other way around.

You know, I keep stopping by this particular piece, but have never said anything about it. It's about time I changed that.
This is certainly a good alternate side of Amy. Everything about it is very cool looking, and unexpected, but in a good way. I can see some elements from her old look, but I love the new elements, mainly the outfit and the weapon. It's all just very cool, I really do think you should continue with this "Endgame" story. I know I would love to read it

Why thank you. General Rose is a personal favorite of mine, and of plenty of others. I guess I have a habit of trying to avoid generic female characters who constantly fall over a guy, and this was the best way I had to avoid that with Amy. (I personally prefer to avoid the damsel in distress routines unless it's the best way to move something along.)
Come to think of it, I've been doing a lot of things centered around Endgame, so there may be good chance of me going through with it.

Ahh, I know what you mean. Seems like by now most of the female Sonic characters have been captured =/ It's nice when we can see that they can fight back. I also have to agree with you and the crush thing, it really does get annoying at times.
