Description
Commissioned byTwo months have passed and Sphinx has changed quiet a bit to Ryoga's eyes as she now bares more a resemblance to the creature from legend. She has also become quiet open, to the point Ryoga is embarrised at times to let her follow him as she's discarded the clothing he gave her for the fine Egyptian jewelery that Ryoga has now idea where it keeps coming from!
Ranma herself, the real one, is now buried beneath the sands of her mind as her mind has been twisted and pulled to believe this is her true self, her goal now to find a suitable female form to take on so that she might be more then just a pet to her loving Ryoga.

Good ending or bad ending? I think its a mix of both with leaning on the good

Not the artist sfault but rather the commissioner:

What's the point of a storyline like this? Making a character suffer and what not is one thing but if you change not only their appearance but their mind as well... then it seems to have been a pointless thing in the first place. After all if the plan was to have Ryoga hook up with a sphinx and go on a quest and have kittens, then there was never any need for the whole transformation in the first place.

Oh yes. At this point I plan to keep Sphinx flesh and blood at this time. But there might be other sphinxes. Perhaps one of them might get that treatment, Perhaps somebody else might offer to commission it. The thread I commissioned is certainly not the only path Ranma could take as a sphinx. Other threads could be commissioned too.

This is perhaps a bad a fate as being sealed into a sphinx statue, or at least from an outsiders point of view just as cruel. On the other hand at least ranma is happy, which is something not everyone can say.

The first implies a second personality created out of nothing dumped on top of the original. While the second part suggests the psyche was CHANGED to BE the new persona.

Its layers man! Some pieces have been buried and replaced with new ones, which essentially does create a new person in the result once you put what's left on top of what's still visable.
