GUIDE TO DEVIANTART HTML TAGSWhen you see "< d > sample d >", that is what you type on either end of the text you want to format. To add the HTML codes, you type without the spaces. So just omit them.
This is bold text.
< b > text here < / b >
This is italic text.
< i > text here < / i >
This is text that links to this page(sorry, haven't figured that one out yet.)
< a > text here < / a >
This is text that links to whichever page you like.
< a href=" link here "> text here< / a >
This is...uh.... underlined-with-dashes? text.
< abbr > text here < / abbr >
This is subscript text.
< sub > text here < / sub >
This is superscript text.
< sup > text here < / sup >
This is Heading 1 text.
< h1 > text here < / h1 >
This is Heading 2 text.
< h2 > text here < / h2 >
This is Heading 3 text.
< h3 > text here < / h3 >
This is Heading 4 text.

- This creates a bulleted list, with doublespace.

This is even more indented text, with doublespace.

This is italic text, but with a different HTML tag.

For the people wondering how to put images;
Just put the link of the image in the image link here, right between the " marks.
Do not change anything else or it wont work.
This only works on journals(?) and your page, not on comments.

the '< a >' tag requires you to do : < a href="www.google.com/" >Go to google< /a > . The 'href' is the link to.
Taking away the spaces in the < a > tags makes:

Still looking for how to insert an image, but thanks for providing this. To anyone else who sees, there is a preview button to see if it worked. It's right there next to Submit Comment, incase anyone missed it. Just prevents spam in the comments when codes don't work the first time.

Take out the spaces between the '<>' s and the words in-between.
