GUIDE TO DEVIANTART HTML TAGSWhen you see "< d > sample d >", that is what you type on either end of the text you want to format. To add the HTML codes, you type without the spaces. So just omit them.
This is bold text.

This is italic text.

This is text that links to this page(sorry, haven't figured that one out yet.)

This is text that links to whichever page you like.

Not sure if I'll explain this well..
Let's say I am citing someone's lineart in my work. In the description of the picture, how would I insert the user's avatar, link their profile to the thumbnail, and make it click-able? I've seen a lot of people do this and have no idea how to do so myself.

Remove all the spaces. To get an image address you simply right-click the image and then hit "copy image address" and then paste it where it says "image address here".
