Description
This is Miru, a two year old female wedge-tailed eagle that was raised from a chic by a wonderful lady named Bev who runs Minton Farm, a wildlife rescue centre.
She was discovered in the nest by a farm hand. Some bastard had shot her mother in the nest and left Miru and her sibling to die. The sibling was already dead but luckily Miru was rescued thanks to the farm hand and is now doing well. We met her when we took some wire to Bev so she can build Miru a new flight enclosure. Isn't she just so gorgeous!! She was enthralled by my camera and was talking to me the whole time.
