FULL VIEW PLZ!! (Oh yeah, this is my first portrait EVER, so plz go easy on me...)

This is the bassist for Keep of Kalessin, and his moniker is "Wizziac." Yeah, sort of a silly name, but I tell you, the man is one of the most physically beautiful human beings on the planet. He is also a real sweetheart who respects those who appreciate his music and whatnot. He's charming as a kitten, too. I met him after one of his shows, and he was just a little flirt!

I wanted to capture the essence of his angelic beauty in this picture. He has very fair features; he is light-skinned, slender, blonde, and has beautiful cheekbones. That's usually what comes to mind when I think of angels, so I figured that adding wings onto him would make a nice touch. However, and most fortunately, the photo which I referenced has his eyes as being very dark and flat, which gives him a rather sinister aura. I really love that about this picture...things aren't always what they seem.

Took about 50 hours, and the paper is 14x17. I used HB, 4B, 6B, 8B, and 9B pencils, and blending stumps. My reference picture is here : [link]

On a side note, I put that piece of paper in front of the drawing so that little bastards won't steal my art and claim it as theirs. Oh yeah, and this was for Wizziac's birthday, too, haha...and he liked it.
