Description This is a tutorial that I did for seeing as my friend wanted to try and draw swords. However, I've decided to share it for the whole DA community to have a look at and use. Get to use it, it's rather simple to do. Once you follow the four steps, within days you could end up as a pro at weapon drawing in MSpaint.

Ooo.. nice tutorial there!
I tend to draw on paper (sketch) and then... I have the Gimp to color.
It's free, y'know. ^^

Unlike you however, as I caught you saying you used photoshop for colouring, all of my drawings, from design to colours are done solidly in MSpaint. The whole thing. ^_^

Nah, you prolly overlooked some of them... The more recent ones, yes, these I did with the assistance of Photoshop...

But there are a few in my gallery which only ever saw the light of Paint... Somewhere along my first deviations. Though you maybe wouldn't believe it, but even the basic shading on the blades has been done with paint. Takes some time, but it's worth the effort .

And if I look at these I always wonder if I'm the only one who draws them that big and detailed.

Not to offend you drawings of course. I started like that too. Small pics, you know. Until I wanted more... Much more . Hey, you know what? We could make a collab and create a really awesome pixel-sword!

Sorry man, when I work on something, I always do it on my own. I tend to find that working with others usually makes the end result not what I picture it. Sorry again.

Hey, this is some cool stuff... At least your farther along with *finishing* a tutorial than I am ...

I admittedly deem myself a pro as far as pixel-drawn swords go... But I like to compare .

Though, the main difference between your swords and mine would be sheer size... I really put alot of effort into them .

Seeing a finished tut makes me feel all guilty. Damn, I really should continue my own tutorial!

Funny thing I just noticed, your name's Daniel as well! That's some weird coincidence, huh?

Ooh, I've never tried to do pixel art, but this would really come in handy if I decide to give it a go. Awesomeness! You seem to be pretty profecient with this kind of medium! Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

It's not a problem, Neo. Anytime someone wants a sword drawn, I'm free to draw... that reminds me, I really must get my other kick butt drawings up here!

Yes, I know I didn't fill in the gaps for the last step... *thwacks self* Naughty Daniel... o_o;;;

Ah well, it was 2:30AM-ish when I put this up, one little error can't hurt so bad... right?
