As one of the most elusive creatures in the Xenocene, the Mouse-squatch is a large pseudoape resembling the famed and mythical Bigfoot or Sasquatch (thus said name). Similar to the Gladiadon, the Mouse-squatch can have a variety of coat colors that vary from this dirty blonde to an orangutan orange. It basically filled a niche of a large omnivore eating just about anything.

Why it still has the naked tail? Wouldn't it be covered in fur mainly because it serves virtually no purpose?

As I said to Covelloraptor, it's primarily a filler for the pseudoapes. Another possibility is that it's still losing it, but it's not to the degree of that it's part of the butt.

Alas rodents don't have any use to be bipeds(apart from hopping mice to stop their feet burning) it makes more sense if it only rises up to grab high up food or to frighten predators, essentially moving around like a bear
