well it's not THAT much (have ya SEEN Ben10? lol), as long as "Hero" and "Light" become "one time" deals that happen in the story, kind of like limit breaks or the occasional unlocked power of the next super saiyan tier.

still you could always do simple chapters where something happens that forces the protagonist into one of those other "many" forms.
unless you're like Ben10 with over 20 forms, then you'll probably be fine.
