Description

Throughout the years of exobiological exploration across the planets and solar systems colonized by humanity, there have always been found artifacts and remnants of ancient species, all preserved as the remnants of creatures that could be found in the earth as fossils and traces, pieces frozen in the time of thousands of forgotten worlds and resurfacing to be analyzed by humanity on its search of understanding of this complex and rich universe, among some of these old relics are found what would be the remains of titanic creatures, beings that exceed in dimensions the limits of what can be marked as "naturally " possible, in several cases mysterious in their nature and how they came to exist, these were called by a term that applies properly for these made in the start of the human space colonization, the kaijus, monstrous beings of exaggerated magnitude found between the layers of very old periods. From the first recoveries of those of a creature with a large jaw and long legs on a snowy planet and signs of having been terraformed, what have been accumulating what would be the remains of different types of beings of the same or greater size, all variables in its forms, and unfortunately without any knowledge or understanding of how they might have lived or how they came to be, being a blank page in galactic history. However, recent findings in several worlds located in distant star systems gives some sort of clue and a probable a conclusion of the nature of these beings, being possibly more artificial in origins than natural.

The remnants of what has been referred to all the individuals as belonging to the same "species", are insectoid like creatures, very large with individuals that were able to reach almost 100 meters in height, being fairly beefy, hexapod beings, with prominent jaws that were apparently capable of fold inside its head and neck, and with a short insectoid face that had 3 pairs of black eyes, with a fairly characteristic arrangement of a dominant intelligent species of the period where these remnants were found . Formally the type species is called Loricosmus, those that extend through the cosmos. Unlike several remnants of other types of kaiju found on other planets, these are the most numerous in remnants, with thousands of individual found in about 150 habitable solar systems or that were once habitable in all regions of the known galaxy, varying the remnants of teeth, scattered bones and with exceptional cases of complete and well-preserved specimens, and the most remarkable of all of them is the fact that they were found in the same temporal layer, around 470 million years before the appearance of man, a time of galactic history that marked by an unusual and still unknown mass extinction event in many planets.

Studies in the best specimens with complete organic tissue preserved expose what could be a rather complex biological architecture that more than developed, it seems that it was “modified” and accommodated in a way these beings could be able to live. These beings seem to lack unique mechanisms or functional structures as organs but multitudes of organ systems that are found in different parts of the body, including sets of what could be determined as reduced brains that together make up an organized neural network that could efficiently have configured a functional nervous system for a being of its size; Its muscular and skeletal system make up an interesting internal arrangement almost similar to that of birds and sauropods making them pneumatic, although it seems to have been "fixed" so that it can remain stable with exaggerated weight without collapsing. They do not seem to have a linear digestive system, that is, instead of having a system made up of different organs with start and end but this had only the buccal orifice that led inside are series of glands and bags that are reduced size while extending towards the whole body something similar to that of a starfish, which probably worked to digest and absorb nutrients at one time. A minor detail is the lack of any type of visible excretory apparatus…

These discoveries and analyzes attach theories and conjectures made by the scientific community and the human galactic society for several years of an unequivocal fact, about the possible existence not only of great and ancient civilizations but also of their greatest achievements and their capacity to create and modify life in ways that could hardly be done, being the kaiju one of the best proofs of such power. Over time since our civilization had found the first remnant of these monstrous organisms, for a while we had not been able to adjudicate a possible and appropriate origin of these fragmentary and diffuse what was known, and could only speculate, eventually with more research and discoveries, such as 2 or more individuals of a species found on two different planets, strange gigantic organic-looking structures that functioned as some sort of "factories", to what seem to be remnants of great battles and devastating mass extinction events on multiple occasions in several planets without signs of recognizable natural disasters in different time periods which these creatures were found, the Loricosmus are just the tip of the iceberg to understand these lost strands of the vast intergalactic history.

This is truly bizarre! Love how you changed up his body plan quite a bit to produce this strange being of nature!
