Well it's just gone 4am and I finally feel artistic satisfaction for the first time in a long time.

I have been battling with this piece for months. I started it back in March (I think...) and then it just sat in my living room, staring at me, goading me to pick up a pencil and continue, but I wasn't ready. Then yesterday I started working on it and came up with this: [link]
Frustrated, as I wanted to complete for my exhibition tomorrow I knew I was rushing it. All it took was a good friend with honest opinions to send me away to face my demons and turn it into what I always intended to.

The left eye was too high and that has annoyed me since I started it. I rubbed it out and redrew it which has made all the difference.

It is now complete, and for once, I don't think there is a single thing I would change.
That is the most satisfying feeling in the world
