Description
A beastie inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's 'The Shunned House' specifically his life-sucking, weird-plant-growing, foul-substance-oozing thing. He DID describe it as more of an all eyes, bug-headed, fish-scaled thing...But I said INSPIRED didn't I? Yes.
Hope I got the crazy underground feeling right. I definitely drew this with only a quick base sketch to practice drawing without set lines like I normally like. And all of the colors were also done on one layer! Tell me how I did, yes?

Well done and creepy, I wouldn't want to be in the cellar where that thing is buried. Also quite original, it's the first time I've seen any art based on this creature.

Wonderfully moody, a very "everything has been done" genre that you have managed to inject with new 'life'.
Nicely Done

Or they will turn you into jelly and suck out your life force with their oily yellow green ooze, yes.

Oh... Apparently Lovecraft made it susceptible to sulfuric acid so that should be useful too!

I checked it out of my school library. You should check! His stuff always comes in big collections. I'm reading 'Tales' which has ALL of his stories.

He is such a sappy nerd. I don't actively DISlike him, but he is a bit useless.
