Armour:

Armour is made out of thick leather, its made to be very light and flexible with minimal protection. The large protruding pieces from her back can come off, and are purely for distracting. They don't really protect her, more used if say a cat went to bite her back, they would come away with useless leather pieces instead.
The small claw-spike on her hind boot's , are used for locking onto a larger cat's armour so she can cling to them, or climb on top of them.

- She can completely closed off her emotions when needed, often in battle she will do this, but it always comes back to her when she's alone.
- Her right ear was cropped by her old master, for sake of "Style", due do this she has a harder time hearing on that side.

"As I watched her move around the lion, I could see the shock and fear in her eyes, she tried to hide it. But I saw it in the way she looked around..."
Being locked up in a cage, Veeta has had years of nothing to do but observe. And as such, she's learned to pick up on things. Small details, a frown, a flick of an ear, a change in tone. Or the slight movement of the grass, small details like these.

"They killed the mother and her cubs right in front of my eyes. And yet, I felt no anger, no sadness, no pain. I just felt numb."
This part of her she is slowly changing, but she's learned to be detached from felines. To not care, and stay her distance. However after meeting Adriyel, and being set free from her cage. She is learning to trust, and form other friendships.

Veeta has learned to have self control over her feelings and emotions, even over her impulses. She knows a well thought out plan, is better then one thrown together based on emotion.

The Beginning
Veeta was born as a only child, into the dark cages of a breeding complex, the owner bred many different felines. And in her early life she never got to see the wilderness, or even the city. All she knew was the dark cage's that surrounded her, she lived with her mother for the first six months. But then her mother was sold to another owner and she was left alone, after this Veeta felt very alone, and depressed. She saw many inhuman (or in-feline?)things being done to the cats around her. because of this she felt the need to go by a different name. To become someone else in order to deal with the horrible place she lived in. So she started to call herself Blade instead, she became very solitary, concealed, and rarely spoke to any other cat. She lived this way for over a year and half. She was forced to breed with other cats, who she learned to be very detached about. It became just apart of life, they didn't mean anything to her. Even the cubs she slowly started to grown detached of, she almost felt like a shadow, just moving through life on a daily basis.

The Change
But then her life changed.
It all started when this new Serval kid was thrown into the cage next to her's. At first, she thought he would be the next cat she was forced to breed with, and she would sit as far away as possible from him. But as the days went by, he would try to talk to the other cats around him in a shaky fearful voice. He sounded barely older then an adult, and eventually, Veeta's emotions came back to her. She couldn't hide them forever, and she took pity on this cat. After all, he had a life outside these cages...It must be so much worse to get a taste of freedom, just to have it taken away. At least all she knew was the cages, so finally, she approached him.

He mostly stayed in the corner of his cage, and at first he wouldn't answer any of her questions. But finally he started to talk to her, he told her his name was Adriyel, she told him to call her Blade, he told her about the outside world. About Shadow empire, the other empires, the bounty hunters. How life in the wilderness was, what tree's, prey, the grass was...She learned so much from him, it was almost too much to take in. She couldn't believe it! Here she was sitting in this cage, when there was a whole other world outside! And yet Adriyel was so hopeless, he had given up all hope and she couldn't believe him.
“Adriyel why are you always so down and hopeless? What about your friends in Shadow Empire you told me about? Don’t you want to escape, to see them again?” She asked him, he was acting like a baby, he had a freedom she never got. And now he was just going to let that go?

“I’m not down…I’m sure they miss me I just…for once I don’t see an optimistic side. I don’t see any reason to be hopeful.” The serval answered, sighing.

“There’s always a reason, you make hope Adriyel, and you choose to give up…Or keep fighting. You make that choice Adriyel..."
The serval fell deathly silent on her words.

The Escape

A few days passed, when there was a lot of commotion outside her cage. The humans were bickering and talking to each other. Whatever they were arguing about they must have come to a decision, as they took a leash and walked towards Adriyel's cage. They opened it and put the small serval on the leash, obviously, they weren't concerned about him trying to escape. His small size made him seem pretty harmless.
And Veeta realized, now was her chance, this was it. If she could distract the humans long enough....
She thought about her mother, about her miserable life in this cage. Anger boiled up in her, a fire lit up in her throat and she let out the loudest roar she had ever done. It shook her cage bars, as she jumped at them, feeling the cold metal slam into her chest. She snarled, growled, drool dripping down her jaws as she snapped them closed repeatedly.
The humans jumped back in shock, startled by her sudden outburst. They distracted them long enough for Adriyel to leap up and bite the hand of the human holding his leash. The Serval ran as fast as his tiny legs could towards the gate. But he stopped short and turned back "Blade..." He said the name she had given herself,

"Adriyel Go! Don't worry about me, Go! GO NOW!!" She screamed, as he turned tail and ran. That was the last she ever saw of her friend, her first and only ever cat she called friend...

The Hunters
Veeta was sure her life would always be in these cages, however, after her outburst the humans saw how wild and deadly she could be. One, in particular, took interest in her, and decided to buy her from the owner. He became her new master, they took her out of the cage for the first time in her life. She was muzzled, and on a leash sure...But she was outside! She could feel the dirt in her paws, the air blowing against her face. She almost didn't even care who this human was. She was free!
Or was she?

Little did she know, a few days after being taken to the human's home. She was put into the bounty hunters. Her skills were tested against some other cats, and they thought she could be a great Hunter. She had natural speed, and her anger fueled her, helped her to have more powerful blows and despite being a smaller breed of cat. She could appear quite intimidating. She lacked balance due to her years in a cage, but with more practice she mastered that very well. And so, her training began.

She spent the next eight months in the city, patrolling, learning about the empire cats, and their duty as hunters. Learning about the war, the Coliseum, and much more. Still, though, she didn't feel fully free...And she had to wonder...Adriyel wasn't in the bounty hunters, what if he was an Empire cat?

Her doubts here constantly pushed aside though, the Bounty Hunters freed her from a life in a cage. She owed them, and it was this debt that has kept her there.

Capture

Durring a battle with a couple empire cats, Veeta was wounded and captured by the group Chimera. Veeta has very torn feelings, she still holds some loyalty to the Hunters. But this is a chance for her to be really free, to be free of cage's, tight space's and city, free of feeling she owe's The Bounty Hunters. She could finally be free, how could she turn this chance down? How could even imagine going back to those cage's? Never. She would never go back, she'd rather die then go back.

Now all she could do was wait and hope they would accept her.

Acceptance - New Opportunity
Veeta was recently accepted as a fire empire gladiator and has spent the last year and half, hunting for prey, patrolling, and training alongside her new empire mates. It was hard to get used to, and she doesn't share her past with most, preferring to leave it in the past where it belongs. She has trouble trusting others, but has managed to let a few into her heart, including Hazel, who has become very close to her as a friend and they often go on raids together looking for her captured mother.
