Description Deep in the jungle there is a hidden temple. Built by ancient tribes to praise the gods it has been cursed by the god of water. So be careful when you enter !!!

Very neat man, looks very neat overall. I agree with what Edwin said about how it feels like you are moving on a canoe. it portrays a realistic enough sense of depth, whats closer, whats farther. That jungle-like foggy environment doesnt look bad either. I wouldnt necessarily point em as mistakes but, my suggestions are the following. In a realistic sense, the 2 bushes that are closer to the camera look very good, but personally I would've used a few darker tones at the base of the bushes and a smoother blending/transition of tones and lightning to help better direct the eye more to the center, wich is what you are trying to portray as point of interest (I think). I dont know if you have formal studies on concept art and design (but if you dont you do a pretty good job regardless) but when I took a concept art class, I remember the professor saying that when it comes to production paintings (another name for concept arts) is not necessary to have 100% realistic accuracy in mind, since the real world is ridiculously impossible to imitate due to the complex way that light and shades function in it. So, is better sometimes to try and think about what looks better artistically or simply what suits better to your purpose. In my case I dont feel like it really distracted me, but for someone who doesnt have any idea on how to appreciate the whole idea, the story behind an illustration, maybe he or she would spend hours just looking at the bushes and not take a nice glance at the temple, and because the bushes have many scattered tones (even though theres a basic structure of where the light is coming from) it may be a little distracting in terms of purpose. Hmm but thats just my opinion hehe. Ohh and something else. you are good illustrating environments, but not just in this one, in some of your other works, I think you should make more use of human elements. We humans not only tend to associate and connect ourselves with other humans, but also human elements in concept art help create an even better sense of proportion and giving an idea of how big are the other elements in the picture, wether they are mountains, trees, animals, structures, etc. Blehh, what a load of shit I wrote xP, well I hope some of it helps.

I would say, most of it helps!

I do not have any artistical backround nor do I study something in connection to it (I'm studying IT now ).

Well I just started drawing human faces and bodies (a hundred each) but I still do not feel comfortable when painting them so I'll start to use them from now on (what I actually did in my last deviation!

Oh and don't get owerworked with writing

Yea I know I wrote so much bullshit hahaha. I cant help it sometimes when I see so many people writing ''Ohh, I like it so much'' or ''ohh, it looks great''. But how does that contribute to help a fellow artist grow? i mean is like they dont even try. But yea, I have to work on my ''remember not to write so much'' skills hahaha

Well at least it gives the artist some motivation to carry on, but it does not help when it comes to improvement...

I really like this, and it's probably because I love foliage, and the Uncharted games. Good perspective. Feels like I'm moving through the area on a canoe.

This is the first drawing/painting I did with a short sketch concerning perspective. It really helps to do this sketch first!
